Some people prefer to keep large dogs in kennels in the backyards. This could be because it is difficult to manage a very large dog indoors and especially if you have limited space. For this you have to make sure that the kennel is really sturdy so that your dog or another animal from the outside cannot take it apart. One thing that you have to check very carefully and make sure is fool proof is the locking system on the kennel door. If this is not secure enough then your dog could open it with a lot of pulling and tugging and then escape. This could prove to be unsafe for your pet, and if you are concerned about his safety make sure that the locks are made of steel which is stronger than aluminum and is safe too.
